I've never understood transitional pieces in fashion. I mean, I understand them, I get what they are, I've just never considered myself to be someone who would seek them out. I don't think I've ever looked at something and thought ‘wow, this would be an excellent piece to take me from summer to fall.’ I just think, ‘oh, it's getting a little too cold for shorts, I'll wear pants.’

As of yesterday though, my opinion changed. I opened a beautiful package from Article& and slipped on this Fifth Label blazer only to realize how practical it is! It's lightweight enough that I can wear it with shorts in the summer and not sweat to death, and it's roomy enough that I can fit a chunky knit under it when the temps cool. I really don't know why I've been avoiding such practical shopping tactics that are only around to make my life easier! So here's to Article&, for showing me that I have a lot of learning to do when it comes to dressing myself!
